FRENCH WINDOWS PONDICHERRY

'Yellow house' and 'Red House' - are in fact my favourites too, because they are townscapes of typical houses of old Pondicherry - my hometown, before marriage. They are buildings of the bygone French era when the French used to rule over the place, and built houses in the French style. Notice the beautiful large French windows, typical of French architecture designed to allow cool sea breeze to enter the house in the evenings.

I was pleasently surprised when a visitor to the show recognised the place (Pondicherry), and went into a description of how she had enjoyed a vacation there. My thoughts went back to my childhood days pleasantly spent at Pondicherry - thoughts loved and cherished for life.
